ABC Diabolo - Give Rise to Doubts

Amazing emotional German hardcore, from the early 90's with a real feel of what crust and modern hardcore would become. I've had this album for years and I used to listen to it on a day-to-day basis because everything about it just feels so different then anything else you'll have in your library. The only bands you'll find kind of similar to this would be the recent 'emo violence' stuff popping up all over the globe, but still, that doesn't do this justice depending on your views of that genre. I thought this would be an odd choice for a first album to upload on my blog but I listened to this today once I got home from school and it amazed me all over again. Tracks like Ephemeral and Very Moment blow my mind at the musical complexity they display. The musicianship is so tight, I still often think "these guys are geniuses!" when I listen to it. I know the vocals wont be every ones cup of tea, but think of all the intensity the vocalist has put into them, the screams; you can feel in the pit of your stomach. I would like to recommend that you listen to this album in its entirety, put it on and go about your business, time will coast by.

What The Fuck Are You Gonna Do When It's Cool To Be Yourself?

After viewing other peoples blogs, I've been inspired to start my own, simply because I feel the opinions and the music others are offering contrast greatly with my own. If you flip through random blogs online you'll notice you see the same old shit uploaded on each page and I wanna do the opposite of that.

I myself am a complete music fiend, growing up I had been hugely into punk, first getting into 77' punk, Uk82, street punk, pop-punk and ska, then as I got older my tastes strengthened, getting to the whole alt. punk scene, Dub, Reggae, Folk-punk and becoming very focused on the whole counter-culture aspect. Then quite recently, I had gotten very into underground Death Metal, Grindcore and Slammin' Brutal Death. I believe that once a punk, always a punk, and you never leave that behind.

What I want from this blog is to share the music I love and ideas that I have. Suggestions are highly welcome!
